Spotlight on Marblehead

Last week I wrote about Swampscott, the town I grew up in. This week I am writing about its high school's arch rival town, Marblehead.

Marblehead is a unique spot full of charm. It began as a fishing community, but when that industry waned, the town still celebrated its love for the sea by becoming a place the world flocked to for sailing and yachting.

To this day, Marblehead Race Week, which began in the 1800s, brings people from around the world to race and to watch.
